  • Tijuana (´15): On-site Operations Assessment at an acquisition target for a Customized D2C Sportswear Manufacturer; follow-up roadmap to improve operational performance (Cost & Lead-Time to Customer Orders) and support growth plan.

  • Miami FL (’12): Implemented ERP with Materials Manager, prioritized Production Planning and Scheduling, improving machine utilization; and eliminating past-due backlog at an Engineered Plastic Components Manufacturer.

  • Bajío: Operational and System Assessment at Automotive Electric Motor Tier 1. ID’d Cost Reductions

  • Mexico City: Operational Assessment at Truck Fuel Tank Manufacturer. Identified Process, Cost Reduction Opportunities.

  • Saltillo: Heavy Truck Fluid Transfer Tier 1 Supply Chain issues, lacking standard work and frequent quality escapes. Traced to weak APQP and a poorly executed US transfer. Assisted on OEM Audit, recommended and helped with Corrective Actions.

  • 2017: Norma Group: Second Building, starting Injection aMolding and Extrusion processes + 3D-printed on-site gage manufacturing.

  • 2016: MMI Engineered Soultions. First new plant, first international unit. Green Field to Shipping approved product in 11 months.

  • 2006: Perlos / LOM: Receive BTS building, trasnfer, install and validate Injection Molding ( 100 cells), Painting (2 high-speed lines) and Assembly Semi-Automated cells.

With over 25 years of experience in manufacturing operations and project management, I help global companies in the automotive, consumer, electric-electronic, and industrial segments achieve excellence and efficiency in their nearshoring and supply chain strategies.I have worked for American, Nordic, Chinese, and Mexican players in Mexico and the US, with a focus on setting up systems at inflection points in an organization's life, like starting up or turning around operations.Using Lean-6 Sigma tools, I deliver cost reduction, quality improvement, and process optimization solutions for my Clients; as well as trained senior managers and staff on best practices and methodologies.I currently provide subject matter expertise, assessment, development, and RFQ assistance on various projects; including on-site operations assessments, roadmaps, implementing production planning systems and achieving $800K+ in cost recovery for a manufacturing company in Mexico.
